The IDF, via the Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), continues its efforts to facilitate the passage of hundreds of trucks containing food, water, medical supplies and shelter equipment for the residents of Gaza. Accordingly, today (Thursday), 251 humanitarian aid trucks were inspected and transferred into the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom Crossing of the Ministry of Defense’s Land Crossing Authority and through the Erez West Crossing, following security checks.
36 of these trucks contained flour that was transferred on behalf of the World Food Programme (WFP) for operating bakeries across the Gaza Strip. 145 of the aid trucks were from Egypt, which were transferred into Gaza after making their way from the Rafah Crossing to the Kerem Shalom Crossing.
The IDF will continue its efforts to allow the entry of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip by land, air, and sea in accordance with international law.
